- There is only one God and creator. Gen. 1:1; Deut. 6:4; Isa. 44:6, 8; 1 Cor. 8:6; 1 Tim. 2:5.
- Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son, whom he crowned with immortality and whom he placed over all the works of his hands (Eph. 1:20-22; Phil. 2:9-11), and that in his death and resurrection man receives atonement for sin. John 3:16; Matt. 16:16; 1 Cor. 15:16-20.
- Man is a mortal creature made by God, dependent upon Christ for immortality and salvation. 1 Cor. 15:53; Gen. 2:7; 3:19; Eccl. 9:5, 10.
- “The Gospel is the power of God for the salvation of everyone that believes.” Rom. 1:16.
- Entrance into Christ is by way of belief of the Gospel and obedience by immersion. Mark 16:15-16; Gal. 3:27.
- Jesus is to return to earth literally (Acts 1:11), he will transform the members of his church and give them glorified bodies like his own body (Phil. 3:20-21; 1 Thess. 4:16-17), and he will regather and reorganize Israel into a kingdom, and he will occupy the throne of his father David over the then established kingdom which will extend to include loyal Gentile nations. Luke 1:32-33; Ezek. 37:21-23; Jer. 23:5-8; Isa. 2:2-5.
- There is to be a resurrection of the dead. Dan. 12:2; John 5:28-29; Rom. 8:11; 1 Thess. 4:13-17; 1 John 3:2.
- There will be a final judgment at which time the wicked shall be destroyed and the righteous shall be given eternal life. 1 Cor. 15:51-54; Acts 24:14-15; Rom. 6:23; 2 Thess. 1:7-10.
- The Holy Spirit is the power of God working in the lives of believers today. Rom. 8:9-11; Eph. 3:16.
- The Church is the body of Christ and should function as such. Eph. 5:23; 1:22-23.
- Jesus Christ is Lord, and everything we have is his and should be used as such.
